(no subject)
Okay, so 3 days is plenty of time to get everything done isn't it? All the cards that I haven't even bought yet will get to their destinations in time, no?
Yeah, so, not completely organised but hey... I have ages yet.
It's been a busy few days, Christmas parties, meals and gatherings, all actually enjoyable (not withstanding the time spent watching a man in an Elvis wig play the accordion, or a loved up uncle, pawing over his new beau with the words, "This is the longest I've ever been with you and not kissed you".) I survived the Christmas grocery shop yesterday, I've ordered the eggs from the butcher and I have most of the presents in my possession.
And my phone is fab (love love loving the tech!), the ulcer that is on the tip of my tongue appears to be healing and barring half a morning on 30th Dec I am off work until the 6th Jan.
And you know what, maybe my happy pills are finally beginning to work, 'cos I feel okay. More than okay even, I'm chilled and I don't mind that I can only talk with a lisp (see tongue) and that I've had a headache for 3 days. I'm still chill.
So, Merry Christmas - thank you for those who have sent me cards, not only do I love them in and of themselves, I am awed at your organisational skills.
Now I have to go and clean. All the things (including me), wrap all the things (not including me) and feed all the things (probably including me).
