Goodbye 2008!
2008 was not a kind year for me. I'm thrilled to see it end. Thanks to all my LJ friends for your support during my down times. Tonight, my husband and I had a small dinner party with 9 people. I really didn't feel like doing it, but putting one foot in front of the other is helping me get through the grieving period. It certainly wasn't the rowdiest party I've ever held, but all in all was a success.
I have high hopes for 2009. One of my goals is to get back to my fashion makeover. Also, I want to slowly lose 20 pounds. Finish the novella I'm writing for my son's high school graduation, etc. Hope you and yours have a wonderful new year.
