Title: Hell House '97
Summary: Dean convinces 14-year-old Sam to dress up for a church's "haunted house", so he can try and score with the preacher's daughter. This just may explain why Sam is so anti-Halloween in the pilot.

Very true and the bonus is that I can do all sorts of evil things and simply say 'the devil made me do it'. The lack of personal responsibility is liberating :D

Ahh! I was sold from the summary, since I watched Hell House a few years ago and was appropriately horrified.

This situation proved, once again, that things could and usually did get worse for him.

Fun story! (Of course, I am pretending that the Lucifer foreshadowing did not hurt my heart because this is happy!land and none of that ever happened :)
