Thanks for your detailed comments about this fic. I love how you characterise Kurt and Blaine as just being in a Mars/Venus situation - cos that's how I see it.

I think it's really a "mileage varies" issue as to whether it's a bad thing for Kurt to go for community theatre without telling Rachel.

My feeling was that Kurt would usually take the high road (this fic is now firmly AU because I am *not* going to recognise most of what happened in Michael or On My Way, but at least what we saw of Kurt in Michael goes with my instinct in terms of taking the high road - and why I think he would struggle with acting differently).

I want Kurt to realise that you need to get out there to make your dreams happen, but at the same time it's a journey for him because despite what Rachel has done to him, they're friends and he is a sensitive kind guy... but anyway, that's my headcanon...
