Decription from Borders.com:

The sequel to the "New York Times"-bestselling phenomenon, "Hush, Hush." Nora's life is far from perfect. Despite starting a relationship with her guardian angel, Patch (who, title aside, can be described anything but angelic), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking up.The sequel to the New York Times Best selling phenomenon, Hush, Hush!
Nora should have know her life was far from perfect. Despite starting a relationship with her guardian angel, Patch (who, title aside, can be described anything but angelic), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking up. Patch is starting to pull away and Nora can't figure out if it's for her best interest or if his interest has shifted to her arch-enemy Marcie Millar. Not to mention that Nora is haunted by images of her father and she becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to him that night he left for Portland and never came home.
The farther Nora delves into the mystery of her father's death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim blood line has something to do with it as well as why she seems to be in danger more than the average girl. Since Patch isn't answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying too heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine?

Review:
In order to read crescendo i had to re-read hush, hush because i couldnt remember anything about what happened. When i re-read it i still loved it, even though i have read so many reviews saying how terrible it is, but i still like it =]. So after i finished re-reading hush, hush i started in on crescendo. First off i had a love/hate relationship with this book. It was well-written, with a really good plot and any surprises were really surprises, i never guessed who done it. I always thought i knew, but i was wrong. In the end the person who was trying to kill Nora was a total surprise. I also now love the character, Scott. The whole time i hated him until the last couple chapters at the carnival. He is my new favorite character. Now on to the parts i hate. This part is a spoiler, you will find this spoiler out early on in the book, but it is still a spoiler so do not read if you dont want to know!! The part i hate is Nora and Patch's breakup. It was so heart breaking. The entire time i just wanted them to get back together. The biggest part i hated about it is that i get so into my books that i feel like this stuff is happening to me and so i was so mad at my boyfriend when he didnt even do anything. The entire time through out the book i was just yelling at Nora to put her pride aside and go to Patch, thats all i wanted.  END

That little small factor is the only thing i didn't like, but if it wouldnt have happened or if Nora did do what i wanted her to then the book wouldnt have worked out like it did so i am happy it happened.

Overall:
I still love this series. Becca Fitzpatrick does have some controversial aspects to her books (abuse, drugs, violence, etc) but those pushing the limit, and not being censored so much is what makes the books good. Nora understands her relationship isnt very healthy, but everything works out. Crescendo is an amazing sequel and just when you think what else can happen? something big happens. I love it, go buy it.

Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ 5/5

Love & Rock&Roll,
Becky
