No news really yet. They took a lot of blood and sent it off for a million tests. Asked a lot of questions about family history which I can only honestly answer for half of since I only know one side of my family. Mostly they asked if anyone had luekemia or lupis and I think I can safely say no to them anyway. Diabetics, thyroid and liver stuff ( Read more... )

I'm anemic too. It's exhausting. ha.

I hope they find out what's going on with you and it's easily curable!

Umm... Brittany's been told she may be anemic. And she's kind of, um, black.

First of all, I have eff'in clue who you're talking about....

Also pale skin is a common sign of anemia. Not that it's the ONLY sign of it or that being naturally pale makes you anemic....

sorry, I know, I was just feeling a little boxy. Brittany is the girl I've been going out with for a while now.

I'm anemic and also have Epstein-Barr (a mono offshoot, which I'd say they'll test you for). From what I can recall from the symptoms you've mentioned in the past it sounds like you might possibly be suffering from that.

Hopefully he bloodwork reveals nothing TOO serious, and preferrably nothing bad AT ALL.

I hope your tests come back normal. I'll keep ya in my thoughts.

I have struggled with anemia since I was pregnant with the boys, one of the main reasons they believe I went into labor so early was because my body couldn't produce red blood cells adequately enough. I have dealt with it for almost 2 years now, I've had several transfusions and more steroid shots than I care to think about. lol I was diagnosed with hemolytic anemia in March of 2005 almost a year after I had the boys and just about 3wks ago my red blood cell count was above normal range for the first time since before I got pregnant. So, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
