Speaking of sexually promiscuous domiciles...
The previous entry about "homesexuality" reminded me of a great typo I found in our college paper. It was in an advertisement, and though I pleaded with my editor to let me (the copy editor) alter it, I wasn't allowed to touch it ("The buyer paid for it to be that way, we can't change it").
It was a great big half page advertisement for brand new, close to campus, inexpensive TOWNHOES.
You can imagine the fun we had with all the extras we could add to that ad. Double occupancy. All hardwood. Or wall to wall carpeting. Entrance in back. Pets okay.
