It's that time of year again...
BACK TO SCHOOL.
But don't panic, bebes. We understand that things are going to slow down considerably, so we ask that everyone try to be patient and understanding of time constraints. As such, we're going to remind you to please wrap up all of your older scenes, and refrain from making lots of new scenes if you know you're going to be severely limited in how often you can access the computer. Think of it as everyone being on "semi-hiatus."
Real life trumps internets, it's just how things go. Right now if you reckon you absolutely won't be able to keep up, please let us now if you're going to be dropping your character - we'll be sad to see you go but a gangsta's gotta do what a gangsta's gotta do. Even with that "semi-hiatus" in place, if you know you're going to be disappearing for awhile for whatever reason (especially school, working out your schedules, etc.), you can still leave a notice on our Hiatus page or make an OOC post in your journal.
OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF~ To all the new folks or people that apped second characters (or anyone that hasn't done this yet), pleaaaase go leave your contact information or update us on the Contacts page. This goes for anyone that may have gotten AIM since a lot of you have finally joined the bandwagon. ;3 I am going to mention this like, every time I post now because not everyone has posted their info there (this doesn't really count the people on hiatus). You have to realise that we're at roughly forty characters, and that there are thirty-something players - that's a lot of people for Heej and I to keep track of, so try to make our jobs easier, bbs.
New rule. We're now going to ask that people wait at least two weeks between apping characters. Those of you that already have holds are in the clear, but this is just something for new people to consider. Get the feel of your current character first, become acquainted with other players, get used to the community, etc. Speaking of the holds, now would be a good time to decide if you really can handle a second character. If not, please let us know if you're withdrawing your hold.
Erm... I think that's it... for now. As usual, questions, comments, suggestions, complaints? You know where to leave 'em.
P.S. I ALMOST FORGOT. Character homework. It's not mandatory, but how does this lot feel about it? Character homework is like a questionnaire sort of deal that is used for developing your character beyond what you've already written in your app (if you haven't noticed, you can tack on new facts too as other muns have done). It was something we did in an old game and it was actually a lot of fun - sample questions are things like, what is your character's most embarrassing moment? Weaknesses? Ninjas or pirates?
