Oh my, the numbers dont lie Sindre~ I got a 3 - you get a shy lady

Nafretiri always needed a place to frequent for such things. Her candles and scents and stones and every other sort of thing under the sun. IN the beginning she came when she needed then, as her talks with the main employee got longer and more sophisticated, she made a point to visit the shop weekly. She always bought something but she really came for the conversation.

Few in this town, Sindre seeming to be the only one she had met thus far, appreciated the rituals in her life. He knew so much about other kinds to, guiding her from just her extensive knowledge of Egyptian rituals and her basics from Greece and Rome, to a wider variety and scale. She looked forward to their weekly chats and though she would never be bold enough to ask the younger man over for wine and a chat so they could talk more she feared it would be much to forward of her. She was only a customer after all and he was sure to have a life that did not need to include humoring an archaeologist.

"Hello Sindre. How are you today?" She swept past the counter where he was, smiling at the restocked incense containers. She tended to burn sticks constantly when home and only bought a weeks or so supply at a time now. "Have you had need to use the ritual to relieve anger yet? I'm eager to know if it helped you in any way."

A light scowl crossed his face. "I have," he replied. "Some kids came in earlier in the week and knocked over all the incense. Took ages to sort out what was still sellable, let alone which stick was which scent. The nisse--" he cut himself off abruptly. He had never brought up the nisse with Nafretiri before, and he saw no reason he should now.

"Needless to say, I needed to use that ritual then," he continued. "Thank you for it--it helped quite a bit." Though he wasn't sure if the aid came more from the ritual or the feeling of warmth that had spread through him as he tried out Nafretiri's gift to him.

"I hope you had plenty of coffee beans when sorting," she commented lightly. "So many scents can mess with the senses, and cause a large headache." Nafretiri should know. In her younger years before she got good at organizing her incense was always bundled them all together and it took her ages, and usually a headache as well, to get the specific scent she wanted.

"I'm glad it helped you though. It's a good thing to keep handy when working with the public I found." She plucked a few sticks from the containers, slipping each different color into its own packet so she would not confuse them and moved on to the stones, which were closer to the counter. "I seemed to have misplaced my amethyst, though I'm not sure when. Could you perhaps help me in choosing a new one?"
