[Genderbend Week] Re-Vote
Okay, well. Due to the split vote and the unexpectedly fierce reactions to one option winning over the other, we decided to have a re-vote - one with details as to what each universe entails, explanations about the character homework we will potentially create for the winning universe, and suggestions how to make each universe interesting.
We realise that many of you might have assumed for quite some time that GB week would have one particular set up and never gave any thought to the other option and thus planned extensively for your idea. And when presented with the realisation that your intended universe might not win, somewhat freaked out.
Now we're not trying to sway your vote one way or another, but we would like you set aside any plans you might be attached to and at least consider alternative plans just in case the universe you favor doesn't win. Each side has its pros and its cons, so please think about it thoroughly before you vote again, but still prepare yourself for the possibility that the universe you voted for might not win. Try to have a back-up plan! And try to be creative to spice up a universe you might have not initially been all that interested in! Challenge yourself!

In the all-along AU, much like the Harry Potter verse, it will be unrelated to the main LOL verse and so you can pretty much do whatever the hell you want. Re-writing character backgrounds, relationships, the whole nine yards!
Within reason.
We’re not looking for personalities to change, like Sindre suddenly becoming a raging drag queen with a passion for solving mysteries and bad kung-fu movies, or Alfred deciding that with his newfound boobs he’s found God and starts helping kids in Africa as much as he can while taking an oath of silence. Keep the basis of your characters, that’s what got them accepted in the first place!
This verse allows you to really enter an alternate universe. Use this opportunity to re-imagine your character. How would growing up as a girl or boy have affected their family life? Would they have grown up spoilt and pampered? Are overbearing mothers living through daughters? Are fathers bearing down on their boys to be REAL MEN? Perhaps they were told that they would never amount to anything and this allowed them to fight the shackles of social norms and FOLLOW THEIR HEART’S DESIRES!?
Back stories aside, this is also a fantastic chance for more character relations. Think of all the people your character would have met if they had boobs instead of a dick. The romances, the betrayals, the crushes that never went anywhere and the one-night stands, all of these are just waiting for you to explore.

For the transformation universe, your character has, to be blunt, woken up with certain body parts missing. Or rather, they've been replaced with parts that they could have sworn weren't there the night before. There's no other way to explain this. Was there some sort of government experiment gone wrong while you were sleeping? Is Liberty now trapped inside a glass dome while being watched by aliens? Is this just further proof that Liberty is one of God's many cruel jokes to humanity?
Or maybe you're just having some drug induced hallucination.
Whatever the case may be, you've woken up as the opposite gender, perhaps sans clothes or perhaps feeling the clothes you went to sleep in being either too big or much too tight in certain areas. Regardless, it's up to you, as the mun, to determine how your character would react to this sudden transformation. Will they perhaps consider flying to Cuba or South America for a sex change? Will they have a mental breakdown and wind up in the psych ward? Or will they try to figure out what the hell is going on and why Liberty is now filled with more women than men?
...or maybe they'll just go about their business as though nothing has really changed. That, my lovely muns, is entirely up to you.

Regardless of the universe that obtains the most votes, there will be a character homework to help you all along with their ideas and to prevent the chosen universe from being boring or repetitive for everyone. So, never fear which universe wins, we will do everything within our power to make this activity a success. Just please think it over carefully, vote, but still have a back-up plan. We feel this is the sure-fire way that everyone can enjoy this activity - despite whichever universe wins.
