[Harry Potter Event] Qudditch Match #2 (Semi) Results
Okaaay, it's going to be a tiny bit different from last night.
Since I don't want any sort of bias on my part affecting which team catches the golden snitch, such a thing will be determined a little differently this time around.
Here's how this is going to go. It may sound confusing, but I promise you it's not really.
Right, so there is a screened comment that I made a little while ago on the post concerning the previous match's results. On that post I typed up a number from 1 - 100.
Now. Instead of just one person from each team guessing, TWO members from each team need to guess what that number is (first come first guess). The two numbers from each team will be averaged and the team whose average is closest to the secret number (which will be unscreened after the averages are calculated) will be the team who catches the golden snitch.
This is so everything is fair. And your mod isn't tempted to cheat. o/
As for the points scored (minus the snitch) that will be done as it was last night.
So. Again when rolling a 20 sided dice...
Ravenclaw = 16 (x 10 = 160)
Slytherin = 14 (x 10 = 140)
So yeees. To sum my point up and determine the winner, I need two people from Ravenclaw and Slytherin to provide me with a number from 1 - 100.
AVERAGES:
RAVENCLAW: 17
SLYTHERIN: 49.5
OKAY. THIS WAS THE SECRET NUMBER:
RAVENCLAW: 36 - 17 = 19
SLYTHERIN: 49.5 - 36 = 13.5

Close margin, ya'll, but Slytherin wins and gets (140 + 150 =) 290 points.
