CHARACTER HOMEWORK: HARRY POTTER EDITION

This came about since people were constantly editing their additional notes in the previous post.

HERE'S A CHARACTER HOMEWORK.

For those of you who haven't been around for character homework, it's basically a list of questions meant to help you flesh out your character. And since we're doing such a big to-do for the Harry Potter Week - in which

I know I skipped a few, but..... It's three in the morning. I'll do them later.

1.What’s your character’s wand core?
Phoenix feather
2.How did your character’s sorting ceremony go?
“Oh, dear lord, another one? I mean! Err.. Ahem! Gryffindor!”
3.Strongest subject? Weakest subject?
She’s good at all her classes, but especially Transfiguration, and Ancient Runes. History of Magic is hard for her; she has trouble remembering dates of different historical events.
4.Does your character have a familiar? How did they get them?
She has a cat named Kisa. She went to an animal shelter planning to choose a kitten, but Kisa chose her. (The cat’s as spastic as she is most of the time.)
5.Are they a pureblood? Halfblood? Muggleborn? Any interesting stories behind that?
Halfblood. Her father was a wizard who apparently liked to "spread the magic."
6.Would your character ever be tempted to be a deatheater?
They frighten her. A lot. She wouldn’t even go near those creepy masks, let alone wear one.
7.What are your character’s thoughts on Quidditch? Are they on the team?
She loves watching her brothers and crush play, but Remy doesn’t have an athletic bone in her body. She flies pretty well, but her hand-eye coordination is awful.
8.What’s your character’s favourite spell?
Incendio. She sometimes carries around a jar of fire to keep her warm in the drafty castle.
9.What’s your character’s favourite candy? Favourite Bertie Bott’s flavour?
She loves Pepper Imps. They remind her of the spicy foods she ate back home. Her favorite Bertie bean flavor is ketchup.
10.Does your character care about house rivalries?
Remy’s best friend is a Hufflepuff, and her.... Other friend is in Ravenclaw. She doesn’t even know who to cheer for in most Quidditch matches. Unless they’re against Slytherin, of course. The House Cup appeals to her competitive nature, though. (You can get points for knowing stuff in class! She has this thing made.)
11.When your character is faced with a boggart, what would it change into (i.e. their worse fear)? What would be their Patronus?
12.If your character met Harry Freaking Potter, what would they do?
She was probably reading at the time and missed it. She can be a bit oblivious at times.
13.What part of Hogwarts does your character spend the most time in?
14.Can your character see Thestrals?
No, but she can tell you all about them. A friend once gave her a book about magical creatures that are related to horses. Which she keeps under her pillow.
15.What would your character see in the Mirror of Erised?
Her family, all together and not hating each other. And maybe Conner not hating Moon either...
16.What’s your character’s detention record?
Remy’s never been in detention. She’s a bit of a goody-two-shoes, and the teachers all know that taking points from her house is devastating enough to her to serve as punishment for anything she might get mixed up in.
17.Has your character ever done something to lose points for their house? What was the largest amount of points that they lost and how did they lose them?
She’s never lost points all by herself, but she sometimes gets dragged into crazy things with her siblings or cousin that get them into trouble. Occasionally she’ll get caught out of the dorms after hours, but only when she’s trying to catch her psychotic escape artist cat, and her perfect academic record works wonders to smooth out those little incidents.
18.If your character became an Animagus, what animal would they turn into?
Probably a kitty. They look cute and harmless, but if you mess with them too much..... They get noisy and irritating. And... Still mostly harmless. But feisty. And adorable.

Professor Petallides' divination classrom, bein' an awesome assistant.
