I didn't really read that many books that were part of a series. Though, when I did, it was way back when I was really young, so the ones I'm listing are...yeah, just a bit, yeah.
Series: - The Song of the Lioness - A Series of Unfortunate Events - Harry Potter - Artemis Fowl - The Vampire Chronicles - Avalon: Web of Magic (BACK WHEN I WAS A YOUNGIN') - There were two other series that I really loved...but they're in storage right now and the names just escape me for some reason, hur hur.
Authors: - DON'T ASK ME TO PICK. JUST DON'T. Though, I do like reading essays and poetry written by José Antonio "Tony" Burciaga. They're just...nnng.
Books: - Caramelo by Sandra Cisneros - The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde - The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan - The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Notre-Dame de Paris) by Victor Hugo - Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen - Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë - Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov - Hard Times by Charles Dickens - One Hundred Years of Solitude (Cien años de soledad) by Gabriel García Márquez - The Line of Beauty by Alan Hollinghurst - The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy - Catch-22 by Joseph Heller - The Stranger by Albert Camus - IT by Stephen King (READ IT IN LESS THAN THREE DAYS OH YEAH) - Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut - Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell - Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray - Beloved by Toni Morrison
...and that's all that I can remember at the moment.
...I only really read (and sitll own) Interview with a Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, and Queen of the Damned. Because I loved all three. Everything else I really just skimmed. <<;
Those three, The Vampire Armand and Merick (i think it was that one... with lestat and louie doing their cuddle thing in the end) are my favs. The rest I have... because I oculdn't rent them OTL /not allowed at libraries /forgets to return books
I thought it was pretty good. But, like most things in life, it always depends on the person who reads it, no? Except for Twilight. That's just 100% fail regardless. 8|
Buuuuuuuuut. I read it as one of my outside reading books for AP English Language, so it's been a few years. I can just say that it was a quick yet enjoyable read. For me, anyway. ♥
Well of course XD that's a given! Twilight reaches a whole new level of fail that not even the Titanic calling itself "unsinkable" could reach :|
Hmm~ I'll throw that on my list too (yay for things too read!) always a nice thing about the Library XD you don't get stuck with a book you don't like (like when you buy it)
