.... Can I just like, I duno, post a picture of my overflowing bookshelf? No? okay time to make a long ass list....
Series: •The Edge Chronicles (fantasy and amazing shit like sky pirates wooooah and so many cool creatures and stuff too~) •The Looking Glass Wars (I may just have a thing for odd Alice in Wonderland remakes but... meh) • Cirque Du Freak (certainly an interesting take on vampires - wish it lasted as long as it was planned) • Da Vinci Code books (angels and demons, da vinci code and the lost symbol they made me think and wonder like daaaamn) • The Kiesha'ra of the den of shadows (havent properly read the series since middle school but its got fantasy and wyvern people and it introduced me to William Blake so I love it) • Inheart (or whatver youd call the trilogy. havent read the last but i adore the first two... I'm a fantasy junky in case you havent gotten that yet)
BOOKS: • Poison by Chris Wooding (again fantasy, and interesting take on the fae and how worlds are run) • The Foretelling by Alice Hoffman (about an amazon girl and her struggle through life as a rape baby and stuff.) • The Road by Cormac Mccarthy (if you dont like this book you're like... i dunno - not human or something) • Fight Game by K.Wild (its about a gypsy boy and he fights in some underground thing and crazy fantasy/experimental shit happens) • Alice in Wonderland + Through the Looking Glass (classics~) • World War Z by whoever im too lazy to get back up (for obvious zombie related reasons)
AUTHORS: • Dean Koontz (mystery like viunbgvobg!!!! leaves me second guessing constantly, always on the edge of my seat) • Iris Johansen (similar to Koontz but a lot easier to figure out and with female main characters and romance and that kinda stuff) • Anne Rice (a few of her books were really awesome, others not so much, but i still like her... despite the fact i cant have sexy vampire fanfics cause her ass) • John Grisham (usual hate things with the law but this stuff if just crazy man) • James Patterson (i'd list his series under that section but ive only read two so.. yeah. Another horror mystery type thing.)
Thats all I can think of without getting off my bed and actively scouring my bookself :d SO yeah....
Thank you! I think I'll have to sit down and write out the ones I want to get on Thursday (yay for extended trips to the library!) Cause I've been dying for something new and interesting to read.
I tried the Looking Glass Chronicles once but...I had a hard time getting into them...I might have to try again.
Can't remember the first time you picked up a book eh~
Seriously, half his books are head trips from i dont even know where. I have to surpress myself from yelling at people when they interrupt me from reading his books X'D
XD Well I remember my mom reading "The Secret Garden" to me when I was like....4? And I've been reading (maybe not that level when I was so little) ever since.
I read one of his series that was meant for a younger audience than most of his horror/mystery novels and I enjoyed it, but I never finished it cause I heard it kinda lost where it wanted to go...
