I still have a few minutes left to congratulate you on a Happy
Day >:)
(c) Why shouldn't it be a public holiday just like some other, less important calendar dates?
Take a Women's Day.. sorry an International Women's Day, celebrated as an official holiday only in a few countries. To give it a decent cosmopolitan touch, I guess. (funny fact: through intended by Clara Zetkin, a German feminist, it's barely known over here but is an official day-off in Russia. Just like: the West has the 14th February and the East the 14th March - a healthy balance for different cultures?)
Also, I'm:
- done with the magnetism exam (and the note is...well, it's tolerably. Could be better though.)
- done with the laser-presentation (and without sounding too showy - it was quite awesome! >D)
- done with the luminescence labs (and the laser safety glasses leave such an intense red imprint on the cheeks as if I were an Indian on the warpath.)
- done with the half of the protocol for the above mentioned labs (and stuck in the other half for the program just wont accept the oscilloscope dates. Don't tell me, I have to type over 2 thousands dates manually. There must be some way.. I just hadn't found it yet.)
- done with clearing my desk to finally find the long lost homework for the hyperfine couplings course (why the hell is there an unfilled list titled "crocodiles" lurking deep down under my papers? Yet another of life's mysteries.)
- done. Just done.
Still to go: another two experiments + protocols and two more oral exams. And then maybe I'll have a few days free before the next semester starts. If the stars constellation is right.
Oh, March, what a capricious, tiresome month you are.
P.S.: The last spam-picture for today, I promise. Most people from my f-list have probably already seen it on my animexx-account, but you can't overdo it by posting a good joke twice, now can you? I'm even putting it behind a cut, for there shall be an unspoken, civilized agreement of openly posting only one heavy image per entry.
P.P.S.: Why hadn't they mentioned if the BBC Moriarty really was a mathematics like his canon alter-ego? Seems likely. I shall miss him anyway.
[EDIT]:
... damn it, it's over 12 p.m.
Aren't you expecting this entry to turn into a pumpkin now?
