I think I almost had a Freudian slip or something at work today. I was greeting a customer and asked "What can I do for you today, sir?", but it almost came out "What can I do to you today?" I think the "to" in "today" tried to jump in earlier than it should have. Still, at least it didn't actually come all the way out like that.
