Be-pounced by cute.
I am not much of an expert on kittens, save the hand-sized ones that peer out at you from pet-shop windows. But there's a small black cat that likes to sit on the edge of my neighbour's balcony and peek down at me while I'm trying to find my keys. I figured she's either a she, or a big kitten.
Today, I went out to the letterbox, walked past some bushes and suddenly was pounced by the little black cat. She seriously ran out and attacked me - then stayed to be petted. Aww. So I went on to my letterbox, and she disappeared back under her bush. When I came back, out she popped again, and pounced me! So I stopped and patted her, then started walking again. She hid under the bush, then jumped out at my shoes from the other side. Then she went under her bush again, and lay down comfortably, just looking at me - sort of 'yep, I am a 1337 hunter of boots, aren't I good'.
I'd be pretty right to call that kitten behaviour, yes? ^____^
