upon graduation...
so... i'm thinking 1st tour on a 210' cutter (hopefully CGC VIGILANT) out of Port Canaveral (or Tampa if i can't get either of the two in Canaveral) doing counter drug and migrant ops and then maybe short tour there so that I can screen for XO or OPS on a 110' in Bahrain (Persian Gulf) and stay there for a year.

right now at the academy is the time that the assignment officers are visiting to give us an idea of what will happen after graduation. i'm thinking this may be a good career path for me at the moment, but we'll see how things turn out. last i checked, i'm 62/210 people (give or take) so we'll see how good my chances are of getting the exact boat i want.
come march, i will be apartment hunting. i'll need help.
