NOTE:  The following is an actual excuse I heard down the hall.

Public Safety Officer.  "What happened to the window?"
Kid.  "It fell out."
PSO.  "It fell out."
Kid.  "Yeah you can see it down there on the street."

The window...fell out.  Food for thought.
