If We Try, We’ll Get By by tryslora. Harry/Draco, ~3200 words, PG-13; feeding, dom/sub undertones. Summary: Between Sunday morning and the cold light of Monday’s dawn, Harry realized that there was a world of difference between making a resolution and keeping it.
Wow. The feeding was very very hot and unusual, and I like this gossip-monger!Draco - it feels very in keeping with his younger self's attacking Harry via tabloid rumours, albeit more adult - and Harry's luring him in.
Thor/IM3/Avengers fic
There’s only one phoenix (and it’s not me) by claudiapriscus. Pepper, ~1400 words, PG. Summary: There's no rebirth waiting for you.
This is the Pepper fic I wanted post-IM3 -- or one of them, anyway. A monologue of her thoughts as she falls and then comes out of the fire ready to fucking do for Killian. I love this because it both showcases her incredible grit and bravery and shows how she never wanted to be a superhero.
Creation Myth by hummingbirdmoth. Thor/Loki, NC-17; graphic torture.
I generally react VERY BADLY to fic that shows Thor torturing anyone or being sadistic; but this works for me, because it’s so damn tragic and Thor is so desperate: this is an AU in which Loki couldn’t turn back from his Frost Giant appearance in Thor, and opens with Thor torturing the Frost Giant ‘doppelganger’: when did you replace my brother, where is he? Then Thor takes said doppelganger to Jotunheim to help him find Loki.
This is on an enormous, mythic scale you rarely see, and it’s gorgeously written and SO TRAGIC, for all the sort-of-happy ending.
Captain Jailbait by Anonymous. Steve, Bruce, Tony, ~500 words, R; perving on the underage.
Tony is perving on Steve while hanging out with Bruce, and it comes out that Steve is seventeen. The dialogue is comic gold.
Cat’s In The Cradle by lunik_the_bard. Tony and Loki plus the team, with background Tony/Pepper and Natasha/Loki; ~3000 words; PG-13. Summary: When Odin took a half-Jotun baby out of a temple in Jotunheim, he wasn't the only one to claim to be the child's father. As his mother, Laufey King cheerfully refused to settle any dispute and soon there was at least one person in every realm who laid their claim as Loki's father. Except for the mortal creatures of Midgard, that is.
Tony (for sound diplomatic reasons!) claims to be Loki’s father and they cheerfully troll the shit out of the universe. It’s just glorious. He gives Pepper a macaroni card for Mother’s Day!
Avengers vids
I’ve Got Soul (But I’m Not A Soldier) by Yunuen. Team gen. Summary: Team!vid about the ups and downs of a super secret boyband formed by 12 year old superheroes (and not soldiers). Angstier than it sounds. “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”
This is beautifully edited, and the song’s beats fit the narrative beats and just. YAY.
What I’ve Done by

This is a short little vid but it gives me a lot of feels. Really dynamic, fabulous use of clips from their other films to show “previous missions” and also OH NATASHA. OH CLINT. (Let’s face it, mostly OH NATASHA but that’s because I’m shamelessly partisan.)
Buffy vids
Final Hour by narvinek. Buffy plus the ensemble. Summary: A music video tribute I made to the masterpiece show Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I DON’T KNOW WHAT MY FEELINGS ARE DOING. This is a really gorgeously put-together vid for Buffy in all her heroism, for the tewnth anniversary of Chosen. My response to voiceovers in vids is usually DO NOT WANT but I think it works well here. This is Buffy through seven seasons, facing evil and darkness and death and fighting it back. <333
Plus, while the non-appearance of Riley makes me vaguely miffed - he’s part of her story too, guys, although this vid is very much about Buffy-as-Slayer - a nearly appropriate level of Faith makes up for it.
