Still ill... and all this sleeping has screwed with my schedule, which is why I’m posting now! Violet’s ill too, she might have given her girlfriend glandular fever, and Miss Godfrey’s got an old-man cough going on. EVERYONE IS ILL. And the campus medical centre has a horrible receptionist - she’s one of those people I could deal with easily on a ( Read more... )

Hah mine are quite happy and uneventful actually.

I came out first to my friends, we were at a party playing truth or dare and the question 'What would you most like to do, but wouldn't dare to?' came up and I answered that I would fuck Karin's brains out xD ~shocked silence for 3 seconds~ And then my best friend (who's not gay) said that she'd totally hit that too! then she took me aside and asked if I was a lesbian and I said that I suposed I was bisexual but deff. more into women and she just hugged me and said 'yay now must find you dates!' and that was that. (Karin who is also my friend found out when I made my facebook status 'women=10 men= -46243876 oh fuck this I'm sticking to women from now on')

I came out to my mom when I came back at 5am from a party, I had talked to her on the phone so she was awake and since I was home I just went to snuggle up in her bed and I was telling her how anoying it as to have Joel try and make out with me the entire evening and how I could never go there with him specially considering Karin. Then my mom asked what about Karin? I told her I didn't want to talk about this that I was going to tell her because I was quite sure and it didn't bother me at all and then I told her I liked women, Karin in particular. Wekks later she told me she was just a bit worried because she knew it might make my life a bit harder but she didn't mind as long as I was happy.

This is 287 words!!! Feel free to cut out irrelevant things or change parts so that it's more understandable I have to run to the bank!!!

:) Good thing too! I love your coming out story, hee. Truth-or-dare is a great way to do it. And I like your mum's approach. I had to tell mine faster than I meant to - my dad was away at the time and we'd fought about me not talking to him about stuff, so I didn't want to come out while he was abroad. Only then Mum was like 'you seem sad' - I'd just had a fight with the best friend over the bi thing - and when I said I couldn't explain til Dad got back she looked REALLY worried and was obviously thinking I was pregnant or expelled or on crack or something. So I was like, "it's fine, I'm just bisexual!" and she was like "THANK GOD YOU'RE NOT PREGNANT" lolol.
