Plus the introductory paragraphs abut the party are beautifully observed
The party was strongly based on my parents' parties. ;)

this really knocked me dead:
Pansy stood unmoving, deliberately provocative in all senses of the word: breasts revealed, dress pulled up, still flushed with orgasm. Staring her in the face. Making her point.
Hermione could barely look at her. When had it gone this far?
amazing! fabulous work, hon!

I may be discovering an infidelity kink of my own.

And the contrast between her and Pansy - lovely.

♥ This is still smoking hot no matter how much I fail at life. I love how Pansy is unyielding in the way she handles Hermione and Hermione is caught up in this facade of what she thinks life should be. Plus the image of Pansy standing there, just fucked, staring Hermione down? Gets me every time.

Yay! I'm so pleased you like it. I feel sort of weirdly insecure about this one, so that's LOVELY to hear.

Searingly hot and beautifully written. Your similes are really very poetic; I especially liked "she gave one slight, breathless cry, breaking like the sea over harsh rocks."
Really, this is just lovely.
