Thanks to arkadiatri, I managed to get just about everything out of mean people. I don't even know how long I've been going at this point, but I've been kind of devoting all my non work non karate time to it and I'm exhausted. By the time we got everything out saturday night, I was tired enough to be walking into things and talking usefully was hard.

Sunday I went to Water Country for a friend's birthday. Despite my aversion to water and my not quite thrill seeking tendencies, I had fun. They made some changes I didn't like- needing to rent innertubes to have them in the wave pool, not letting you line up behind the color slide you want to go down, blocking off the long part of the lazy river and not letting you just loop until you were done with it (we just got out and jumped right back in line and immediately got tubes again)

The problem with water country, though, is that every time I go, I get cold. This time was better than a lot of them, in that I didn't turn blue and my teeth didn't chatter (has happened both previous times I've been) but it did start getting windy and cold right before the thunder storm came. I got what I think of as swimming pool sick. Since saturday was so hot and I was moving so much, I don't think I was perfectly hydrated, and being a long day in the sun, yeah, not so much. I don't drink the water we ride in. Combine that with sun & occasional heat with being cold and wet, my (whiney!) body started caving under the stress. Wound up punting the dinner trip in favor of lying down at home a bit, leftover curry, some video gaming, and watching some music videos (the white knuckles dogs are cute!). And because I was home and it was staring at me, working on setting up home up. Dan brought a drill (so far, the theory is that my drill's power supply is dead) and some vitamin water, which immediately went to use. It was kind of like in a video game, you open the potion and drink and the next second it's gone and you can see the little hearts start filling. Didn't fill *that* many hearts, but it helped.

So today I feel a little weak & wussy & tired, but ok. Well, I can feel the edge of unwellness still, but I think feeding, watering, and sleeping will make it go away.
