2 amusing realizations
1) I am, I think, the only woman on either side of my family (outside of my grandmother) in a relationship with a man from the same country as me. (This doesn't hold if you count women)
2) I have lived with one of my current roommates longer than I've lived in any state outside of this one. I think I'm a year and a half away from that statement with one of the other ones.
I find these kind of jarring, since "mutt" and "nomad" are things I have identified as for a long time. If I have kids, they will likely be neither of these things.
