SO I got my DIPLOMA today. That's right, I survived High school and am ready for college. I felt bittersweet. The speakers were all good. I thought it was cool how the bagpipers escorted us between the honor guard (made up of the entire faculty) while playing Scotland Forever. I don't know about the rest of ya'll but I thought it was cool. When I got home, I changed and took a picture with my two uncles...who promptly threw me in the pool afterwards, which I was not happy about. One of my uncles was an Air Force officer for 20 years and he told me thats what they do to everybody who graduates from something (e.g. pilots who recieve their wings) so he told me it was an considered an honor to recieve the treatment. (He told me that he's seen it happen to generals dressed in full uniform with medals and everything). I didn't get alot of gifts, but i did get a $300 gift card to Borders, which I assure you will be depleted very quickly.
I haev iffy feelings about leaving DE. Sure I had my ups and downs but who doesn;t. I'm going to miss a bunch of people.More on that later.
