Suicide is bad, and those aren't the best methods either. lol.
I myself always perfered the idea of a gunshot to the head or drowning.
I can make a noose though, which is slightly disturbing, I must admit.
I've never known anyone who commited suicide, but I know a few people who have attempted and more people that talk about wanting to for both attention and because they really felt that shitty.
One of the saddest stories I've ever heard was when a friend of mine told me about his suicide attempt... His first serious girlfriend broke up with him, and he got extremely depressed. He tried the whole OD on asprin thing, but he didn't take enough. He was just out cold for almost two days.
The sad part was, when he woke up, no one even noticed. They just thought he was tired. No one had tried to wake him, or taken him to the hospital. No one even thought it could have been a suicide attempt.
I think that's one reason I never actually tried to commit suicide. I had more of a fear that I'd fail and no one would care than a desire to actually try and leave this world.
Plus, I care too much about people and too much about myself to go out in a manner that would seem selfish. I hate doing things that make me seem selfish. Bleh.
I've only ever contemplated suicide to try and sit in someone elses shoes. It's something i'll only do if there is nothing left for me in this world. ie my family is dead, i'm paralyzed, brain damaged, and blind.
so in other words i'll only commit suicide in a state where i wont be able to do it.
