Today I start living in Vancouver, yay. Finally I will no longer be trapped in my mothers house. The freedom that the trasnit system will give me is increadible. Before I drove I loved the transit system. Not many people around here use it unless they are in extreme poverty and cannot afford a car. It's a small city, as I've mentioned before.
It was riding the transit that I began to appreciate silence and the landscapes of this fair city. An hour and 45 minutes on the bus with people that had such a thick southern accent that I had no clue what they were saying... It was almost like being in a foriegn country. lol.
Most of the time when I rode the transit, I was alone. I thought about lots of things, and I thought about nothing. I read a lot, I slept a lot. Those were good times, man. Good times.
Now through long trips I have to pay attention to the road and when by myself the only entertainment is my music. (which isn't bad, but I always feel limited)
