On the Death of IoanOnline

I'm sure most of you on my friends' list who care will already have seen romanticalgirl's note on the closing of IoanOnline, or heard it at the forum itself, but it was news to me, and I think it's a crying shame. Due to time constraints and a certain reluctance to spend ALL my life online (*grin*) I was an only infrequent poster on the forums, but a relatively more frequent visitor to check up on news, updates, and the general good-feeling which April managed to cultivate. I haven't any way to contact her to express my sadness that a few managed to ruin it for so many, so I'm just going to say it here on the off chance that throwing it out into the ether has any effect. I can only hope that Ioan and Alice know that the majority of his fans have nothing but admiration and a politely distant affection for them both, and do not let this experience sour their interactions with fans in general.

(And on an entirely selfish note, I am now exceedingly depressed that I will have to find some other source or sources for news, graphic resources, and general good-natured drooling. Hrmph.)
