The Game
Tomorrow is Harvard/yale. *joy!*
I will be playing in the Band. Picked up my flute for the first time in several months this evening. *woe!* I seem to have lost all control of my tone in the upper register. *double woe!*
Still...tomorrow, shall be cheering on the mighty sons of Crim, and generally making a fool of myself and endeavouring not to be hit with the champagne bath. And getting to see a lot of former Bandies like myself that I haven't seen in ages, so that's all good. *back to joy!*
And Lee was semi-decent in this evening's BSG, so I can go to bed happy. (Still...how can they just pretend last week's episode didn't HAPPEN? There's no emotional fallout from this? SO unrealistic...) Previews for the week from next look interesting though I'm reserving judgement. As a general rule I dislike tv which appears to be pandering to the basest instincts of the tv audience, so I'm not a boxing fan, but it looks like we're going to get some Lee/Kara and Lee/Dee flashbacks, and that would be a good thing. Many people whacking the crap out of Lee=not a great thing in my book, but at least it'll be a Lee episode. *happy*
Completely unrelated note: picked up a new time travel book today which looks like good fun: By a Lady about an American actress who ends up in Jane Austen's England. Looks like a hoot. Hope it lives up to expectation and the first chapter and a half.
