Also, I just found out that I GOT A MODERATOR'S CHOICE AT ELFWOOD! HUZZAH! It happened over a month ago, but I just found out! It made my day. I'm so happy

The Lion King 1 1/2 was on tv, so, naturally, we watched it. And-now don't judge me- but I liked it! It was funny and stupid and animated very well. It had to be because of all the original animation interweaved throughout it. I was surprised, but it was more about Timone than Pumba. I thought it was pretty cool. It wasn't trying to be too serious. It worked out much beter than The Lion King 2, Simba's Pride, wich though it is a Romeo and Juliet thing, and involves an angsty bad-guy outsider, had a few problems with the plot. (Even though I still kinda like that one too. What?!)
Let me reassure you, that though I enjoy a few of the better-made sequels, I still boo every time I see Eisner's stupid ugly face on tv, and think that mis-placed sequels are just a bad idea in general. Especially when they mess with the classics. You know. The when-Walt-was-still-alive era. It's outright damned animation tradgedy. *shakes head*
