Short updates on everything.
Okay okay, finally writing stuff down in the ol' Eljay.
* Work! Has stopped being overwhelming now that me & S (my training buddy) have been freed from watching training videos in the back room and are finally out putting what we've been told into practice. And making a fair amount of mistakes, of course, but that's how any job starts out.
I've received my assigned sections of the book shop. All the history books (American History, World History, Military History, etc)... and Manga / Graphic Novels ;)
So basically Manager A assigned us sections that were necessary but gave us each at least one thing she knew we liked. And actually just tonight a customer sold us a shitload of manga, so the section might expand a little ^^
* Home! There's almost never more than two people home at the same time ^^;; Maybe that will change when the school year starts and C goes back to teaching instead of house-sitting in Gilbert, but... *shrugs* I didn't expect my schedule to align much with anyone else's anyway, since my hours will fluctuate each week.
(Speaking of schedules, I'll probably post mine tomorrow or something.)
Short intro to roomies for further reference. C is the one who has been in the house the longest and semi runs things. She'll be a 7th grade teacher this year. A is the dental assistant who has a dog named Inez and is at her boyfriend's place a lot. T is the one who owns Carlos the cat. She has two jobs that are really opposite; one is working four days a week helping the mentally ill and one is like helping out at parties / events that gives her late hours.
But as a result T is the one I've talked to the most, because her hours are also irregular but somehow have overlapped with mine more often. On Sunday she was home all day and had friends over -- they were like, drinking and snacking while hanging out by the pool (yes, we have a pool)... And then later that night apparently she got sick from what she thinks was a bad combination of too much sun and alcohol ^^;;; Thank god I missed nasty throwing-up noises because I was too busy fangirling with kirakira_sora and gummical.
Speaking of Tegan, me & Teffy peer-pressured her into joining Twitter >:D
And that's basically been my week! Plus, you know, writing summer cards, watching TV, general fangirling, etc.
