so today i was early for class, and i started talking to this girl who i've chatted with before. she's an international student from Poland, and her name is Agnieszka, which i learned today. she was telling me how she was tired, since she had a long time between her classes. i wondered why she didn't go home to nap. turns out she lives in trenton and commutes all the way to Temple every day. She told me she lived with her in-laws, and i thought it was just a translation error or something, like she meant aunt or cousin or something. but then later, she mentioned her husband. her husband. she's probably 19 or 20. she wore white sneakers with pink stripes and a zip-up hoodie. math major. and she's married, living with her husband's family in trenton, new jersey. i wonder so much about her life.
