Scary Times at Work and Veronica Mars

May 04, 2011 08:57

I am dreading work this week.  It's not just because of the seven days straight, although that sucks by day 6.  There have been a lot of robberies lately on 3rd shift in the city and I'm pretty sure I caught someone "casing" my place Monday morning.  My boss isn't taking it too seriously but the police did.  Took a statement and parked across the street most of Monday, saying if I saw the guy again to call 911 immediately.

So, yeah, I'm worried about work tonight.  A lot.  I need a scary Ed like in my icon to watch my store tonight. ;)

Oh, Veronica Mars, my shiny new toy.  I wanted to watch an ep or two out of curiosity because Enrico Colantoni was in it, and I got hooked right away.  So good.  Not sure it's hunt down new icons and fanfic have a total obesssion worthy, but goooood.

And I love Enrico Colantoni.  I don't know why I do like him so much, but I find him just really enjoyable to watch, whatever I've seen him in to date.  And I'm impressed with his acting because whoever he's playing I totally buy him as, and never think of his other characters while watching him in something else.  It's impressive, think of all the actors who only seem to play the same character over and over, or who even when they try to play "against type" still seem the same.  You could easily point out how much in common Keith Mars and Greg Parker have in common, but to me I see them as two completely different guys.

I'm probably going to go watch more Veronica Mars now to distract me from thoughts of armed robbers.
