Thoughts on CI
So I've been on a major CI binge lately... like seriously, someone needs to stop me. And I've had some thoughts about the show
I miss Carver. In the newer episodes I don't because they're written very well and I don't miss him when I'm watching, but when I go back to earlier episodes with him, I think about the lack of Carver. I think he was a necessary character, because he's really the only one who, imho, tells Goren no on a regular basis. He needs that. Badly.
Also... the whole Goren goes undercover in the upstate prison idea... wow. Like... bad. When I did it I was thinking that Eames was going to kick his ass for doing it, until I saw that she was in on it, and then I wanted to kick her ass. I adore Eames to no end, but what the hell was she thinking? Was it a "he'll do it anyway so I might as well go along with it" thought? I think I ended up more annoyed with Eames than with Goren.
God, I can't believe that episode still makes me mad. It's from like, what, a year ago now?
