Random thoughts (Rookie Blue, Flashpoint, work, random)
Hey.
First, I feel compelled to point out that my new journal title is a song lyric, not a real statement on my current state of mind. ;)
Second, the season finale of Rookie Blue? Good. But I'm annoyed with the Gail/Dov/Chris storyline. I mean, Gail did nothing wrong. And she got shut out. Dov is really the one who screwed up, but he was high at the time, so I'm not even too annoyed with him. But Chris? WTH? The storyline towards the end felt really contrived to me. But Gail/Luke could be interesting.
I'm not Canadian, so what I think really doesn't and shouldn't matter, but Flashpoint was totally robbed at the Gemini's.
Also, interesting Flashpoint tidbit... I always wondered if there was something significant about the fact that Greg's badge number is 3 digits and everone else's are 4. And actually, there is something significant about Parker's number. It's Enrico Colantoni's brother's old badge number from when he was Toronto PD. That's pretty cool.
And work... I have a day shift tomorrow, and then I'm off for the rest of the month. Thank god. There have been so many strange situations this week... something's gonna happen. I know it. We've been too lucky this summer, and Friday night? It was just too weird. I wish I had called 911 instead of C because she kind of brushed off what happened, and I wouldn't have. I don't think it was a false alarm. There may be more on this in a locked post.
Ugh. My throat aches, my head aches, I can't breathe through my nose, I cough and sneeze... serves me right, though. Every time i break down and buy a pack of smokes because I'd rather poison myself than deal with stress I get sick.
