So glad LJ is back up. I missed it. I need a life. Hopefully this post goes through. I want to go back and see if I missed any comments because the notifications to my email has been spotty.
Anyway... I have thoughts, but I've been a little sick lately so I haven't been as active as I'd like, especially when it comes to Flashpoint.
Also, Rookie Blue? So much fun. ;) And when they call in the ETF guys, the guys that Flashpoint's SRU is based on, it just makes the crossovers churn in my mind! They won't get written, but they're there, seriously. Sam and Andy? Hot. And Oliver? Hee. So much love for Oliver, as you may be able to tell from the new journal title. And I can see why some people may not like Gail, but OMG, love. She's awesome. "But we're already Dov's foster parents!" Ha!
And Flashpoint! wow. Oh, Wordy. What are you doing to my Wordy?? I think it's good that this Friday I'm not working that night, I may be a mess. I have lots of thoughts on Flashpoint, that I will get to later, maybe later today. I hope to make a post about "The Element of Surprise" because of Ben Bass, from RB. but also, that's a good ep, tho not one of my all time faves.
Sergio DiZio on Twitter? Awesome. He made a post about the "love triangle" between Spike, BabyCakes, and the new UAV. Hee. "the robot's always the last to know." hahahaha.
I loved Veronica Mars, and the same guys also made Party Down, so I wanted to watch it. And Enrico Colantoni is in the first episode, along with other VM alum, so I watched it. Before watching it I was thinking that you never see EC in anything but long sleeved shirts and pants. Well... I spoke too soon. That may have been more of him than I really needed to see. ;) First I was marveling because short sleeves and shorts (with long socks, ha!) and then there was a naked cannonball into the pool. Hee. In better shape than you'd think, though. I've always thought he was the only one of the cast who looks much thinner out of the uniform than in it.
Okay, tired, but need to fight the freakin' fatigue and do something. I must look bad lately because I was supposed to work a day shift today but last week I asked if management could find someone else to work it for me, I was so tired. Usually that would get a "this is short notice, you find someone or show up (although phrased a little more nicely)" but C just looked at me and said she'd take care of it, just to get better. I'm fine, but I just need a break from the heat and to pump up iron intake, I think. And get rid of these allergies! And get a couple sessions of sleep that are longer than a few hours. Then I'll feel better.
Seriously, how do you people who deal with allergies all the time handle them? This is something I've started developing over the past few years and they suck. I should take the meds more but they make me so drowsy. Which would be great if they kept me asleep more than a few hours.
