Yay Flashpoint! Crazy neighbors. And I'm a dork.

Yeah, I know, the dork part, not really anything new.

God, what a week.

It's July 8th, and tonight is Personal Effects.  So excited.  I want a team that's whole and an Ed that's healing.  And a healthy Wordy.  It's been forever since I liked a group of characters this much.

I'm kind of tired, though, and I'm afraid I will fall asleep before the show starts, despite how excited I am.  My sleep is off even more than usual because of my neighbor.  I think it was my neighbor.  Someone got drunk and was outside being obnoxious and stripped and then laid on teh ground moaning at around 4am Thursday morning.  I didn't see who it was, and people were trying to get him back inside so I let it go thinking I didn't want to call the cops unless I had to.  About an hour later the cops are at my door shining a light, checking my apartment number.  I go outside, there's like, 6 squad cars and a detective for some reason.  They're looking for 21 which faces the other way, so I point it out.  Someone's in the back of one of the cars, and they're handing him clothes through the window.  Including a green shirt that I saw him wearing at the bar Wednesday afternoon.  ::sigh::  There's a reason I don't get to know my neighbors.  Also,  lately, my complex has been living up to it's nickname of "Felony Bay."

And I am  such a dork that I'm planning my dinner around the premiere.  It started with me craving some ginger ale and laughing and thinking I should drink Canada Dry during the premire.  It's gone  downhill from there.

I don't think I've ever planned like this for a season premiere, not even during the height of my X-Files phase.

Speaking of XF, I watched "Bad Blood" on Netflix this morning... still hilarious.  So many quotable lines... I think I shall have to change my journal title to one of them.  "Anyway, I was drugged." or maybe "That is essentially, exactly how it happened."

Yay again for Flashpoint Friday!

x-files, dork, flashpoint
