Though I know nowhere else to put this.
Odd coincidences are always interesting.
Remember the old strip, "Bloom County"? How they used to get into election parodies? That struck my mind today, and I wondered if ol' Breathed might be doing another such parody round about now. So I went and googled "Opus", his current spin of the Bloom County characters. I haven't looked at the Opus strip in I think years. A sudden hankering.
Turns out that yesterday (it only publishes on Sundays) was the strip where Opus died. The finale publication.
I'm not one to take spooky connections seriously. But they are enjoyable. And sad of course, because, well, this one's about mortality.
