Jaime is visiting Budapest in November, so by coincidence I was collecting a list of 'interesting things to do in Budapest' yesterday from a work colleague who lived there. Most/all of these are probably in your travel guide, but anyway:

* http://www.szechenyibath.com/ - Szechenyi thermal baths
* http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Szentendre - Small town an hour or so north of Budapest by train
* Buda Castle on the western side of the city
* Walk Andrassy Avenue - large avenue through Pest to the city park and Heroes Square
* Heroes Square, surrounded by the Museum of Fine Arts and the Palace of Arts, and City Park
* Margaret Island - island in the danube with parks and recreational areas
