Dear Auell,
I am betting you haven't even received my last letter, but I'm so excited I just had to let you know the good news. You know about Nataska already, and how I came to find her. Well, I was talking to this orc hunter in Ogrimmar about her and he mentioned a few other rare creatures he'd run across up in Northrend. Suggested I take a trip up there again and see if I can find them.
I honestly thought he was pulling my leg. So I didn't go right away. Then I overheard a couple of trolls talking about the same thing, so I figured maybe there was something to it, you know? Packed my bags, made sure to clear it with my superiors and hopped on a zepplin to Northrend again. Just out to the Fjord, which is really pretty country.
I confess, I stopped by to see if I could visit. Only to be told that you had been cleared and already shipped out. This was disappointing. Where did they even send you? Hopefully you can at least write back and let me know where you are.
Anyway, after that I left for Grizzly Hills. Rumor had it there was some kind of ghost bear there. If there is, I never saw it. So I checked my map and headed into Zul Drak. There's supposed to be a ghost cat up there. I had this sinking feeling, to be honest. That somewhere an orc was having a drink with his buddies and laughing about how he told this blood elf about a ghost cat and other lies.
Then I spotted her. Almost missed her completely, cept I saw something shadowy moving along recent snowfall. Got her to come to me same way I did with Nataska. Oh I can't tell you all my secrets, right? You'll just have to guess, all I'm saying is I'm talented.
I left her with Nataska and Link and Koal and... I really am becoming a crazy cat guy aren't I. But yeah, left her with the other cats (same stable, but she's separated slightly since they don't know her yet) to get acclimated and headed on over to the Storm Peaks area. That's one cold flight, lemme tell you. Nearly turned around twice when all I saw were elementals and worms. And a wolf. Not just any wolf, but one with enough eletricity bouncing around on its fur to shock you off your feet.
And before you ask, yes I have names for them. The wolf is Freki. And the ghost cat has such a regal elegance I named her after Chesric's sister, Miss Lucy. Hope she doesn't mind, but it seemed fitting.
Faithfully yours,
Paeorth
PS: Where on Azeroth did they send you?
