jane, you're right when it comes down to it, just say it in a nicer way. not all of us are in new york city, some of us are in bumfuckville. kudos to you for painting dicks on your fingernails and being "socially sucessful" but not all of us are that outgoing. i do agree though, we're all really lucky to even be going to college, and maybe we could all afford to have a tiny bit better of an outward look on things, it's just hard adjusting. i mean, what've you got to worry about? classes, homework, what you're going to wear to a show saturday night? some of us have other things to worry about, and that causes a lot more stress and doesn't leave a lot of time to always look on the bright side of things. i have to admit, you seem like you're having a blast, despite the workload, you have snuggled yourself right into the pratt group, and i'm a bit jealous. but it's still awesome. people just took your entry the wrong way, and i'm sure they'll all settle down soon, but i know i can hate college right now sometimes, so i understand their point. whatever, i'm just giving you my opinion, not like it's any of my business, but don't worry about anyone else and how much fun or lack there of they're having, just go out and do your thing. we'll all find our niche sooner or later... you just found yours sooner.
