The Berlin Opera is having a sale for June: over 5,000 of the best seats for 7 euros apiece for people under 30.
I got in line early today and got tickets for five (ahem: f.i.v.e.) operas
and
*drum roll*
T-W-O tickets for a ballet on June 19th... for Danielle and me!! Surprise Danielle!!! It's not the most famous ballet (it's called The Bayadére), AND it's not Paris... BUT it's being directed by a really famous choreographer... and we have A M A Z I N G seats.
How amazing?
Sixth-row, floor, three-seats-from-the-center-aisle, original-price-63-euro-apiece amazing.
