I cannot say that such an event would not be problematic. [ If they had the power to erase memories, what other aspects of Spock's memories was missing? Their first meeting? Their first shared bowl of plomeek soup? Important mission parameters? ]

Then it is only logical that we compare memories. I trust you will not object.
