i finally finished my christmas shopping tonight, thank goodness. i got all of my close friends done in three hours or less. i was a little pressed for cash this year, but i hope they'll be happy. i shopped for karl, mom, dad, grandma, the grandfather from puerto rico who's coming into town tomorrow for christmas, laurie, and brad. i'm thinking about getting something for karl's parents (and possibly his sister), but a) i only have fifty bucks left in my pocket that has to last me for two weeks, and b) i have an idea of what to get them, but i don't know how to go about getting it.
on a brief sidenote [and update] of my life:
my mom knows i smoke pot now, because she caught karl and i smoking in my room, but she's cool with it, so i'm cool with it, and our relationship has never been stronger. how ironic. :)
my mom has known i smoke cigarettes for awhile, but my dad recently caught me smoking on the way home. he's not exactly cool with it, but he hasn't said anything to presume otherwise.
i'm on birth control finally, so unprotected sex for the first time in my life (i.e. ejaculation in my girlie parts) will commence on new years. merry christmas, karl. :)
i got laser surgery a few days ago for all the birth marks on my neck and face that i hated. i'll be scabby for about a week or two, but whatev. i can deal.
i got my car back finally, so i'm a free woman. a monitored, speed-whoring free woman, but still free.
i have decided that i'd like to pursue teaching and/or radio broadcasting as my major. i can always brand out later.
karl cut his long hair, which killed me to pieces, but he still looks handsome, even with the spikey up-do thing. he's going to cut it into a fo-hawk (sp?) [hopefully] in about a month or two.
karl and i have been together for almost half a year (six months)!
other than that, all the presents are wrapped under the tree, and i can't wait. i think my mom actually got me stuff i'll like this year, because she ordered a bunch of shit off of urban outfitters for me, so that's awesome. i love anything for urban outfitters.
anyhow, i'm tired and feel like watching pulp fiction, so happy chrismahanakwanzakah!
