VEGETARIAN IN PITTSBURGH

As many of you probably heard, I've been trying out this vegetarian thing for about a month and a half now. Not really out of any insane life altering goals or morals or anything, just to see what it was like. That's the other major issue I come across. there are a few FANTASTIC vegetarian restaurants in pgh. They're all either crazy ethnic (although, thai. mmmmmm....) or they have like 5 things on the menu.

I've heard of this lemongrass cafe place. From what I heard, it's a foodgasm waiting to happen. I may have to try this.

heres a secret tip. ...Penzeys in the strip sells this pork seasoning that makes absolutely fucking everything TASTE LIKE BACCON! it rocks in stereo!

dont give up....my bitch is that anywhere that sells "roasted vegetables" never cooks them all the freaking way. If I wanted half raw dinner, I wouldnt have asked you to ROAST it!

Penzey's is near god-like. My only beef with them is I'd LOVE them to sell recipes for some of the spice mixes, because I muchly prefer fresh if possible. Although, bacon flavored tofu? that's gotta be a sin, somehow.

Yeah, I've found that too with the veggies. The only caveat I put on that is carrots. I like my carrots with a little bit of crunch to them after they've been roasted, but most places underdo just about everything, then murder the hell out of the carrots.
