Sherlock
So, thoughts after watching the first episode of Sherlock "A Study in Pink"...
So, I finally watched the first episode of Sherlock. Is it weird that I’m a little bit attracted to Benedict Cumberbatch/Sherlock? I think it’s his voice…kind of low and gravely. Lol, idk - he’s also not as much of an ass as I’d been expecting. It’s weird watching a show that I’ve heard about SO MUCH in fandom (both good and bad) before I’ve seen it.
I thought the plot was entertaining. I liked the Mycroft/Moriarty fakeout they did - it totally got me too. I like the writing on the screen thing but some of the fades/transitions on this show are kind of awkward. Also, for all the complaining I’ve seen of CBS’s Elementary “ripping off” Sherlock I found the music in “A Study in Pink” very similar to the music in 2009 Sherlock Holmes movie…just saying. Anyway…I’m not quite “Sherlocked” yet, but I’m definitely watching the next episode.
