Ok, So ive decided to return to LJ. I've missed the camaraderie. I'll try blogging more regularly folks!
Its been really nice here in CB...sunny weather...leaves coming out.
Trying to sort out finances for my return to Calgary in another few weeks. I'll be good for the summer, and i recently found out about my funding being renewed, so that will be fantastic.
Anna P. is coming to U of C next year. She went to Mount A with me and is also going to be doing MMus in composition. woo!
Summer looks interesting....
going to be doing mostly thesis work. I have a pretty intense project lined up. Not sure If I should just work on it for the thesis, as its going to be a bit um, "radical" and left winged (I am in Alberta....) Or if I should just stick with another idea? beh. Who knows. Also, must study for oral comps. Plan is to have them all studied for by September and tell supervisor that I want to do them by November. Conversation should look something like this:
"Hi Dr. Jordan. So um, I spent all summer studying my orals so I'm going to do them in november mmkay?"
"Eh...well.....oh.....I...guess thats ok?"
*runs out of office*
