ok, so rather than providing a whole slew of potential "tag lines" for my book, i'll just give you what i think it my best one thus far. granted, i think only one of you regular readers has actually read my book, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. here goes

your "if you could get j.d. salinger, georges perec, and john lennon together in one room and force them to say they until they'd produced a novel together" actually sounds like what i attempted to produce, no joke. it's no secret that perec is one of my favorite (and most influential) authors. john lennon's influence almost goes without out saying (you should see the beatles references in the book), and a few times i have suggested a comparison to j.d. salinger, the name "zooey" nonwithstanding.
and as i said, this is supposed to be more of a lead-in to a broader, more detailed paragraph synopsis, and i don't want to give everything away. despite being a so-called "plotless" book, there are at least a few surprises within its pages without constituting a Fight Club-esque twist. just ask freesnowcone about that...
