Life and all it's twists... :(
For those who don't know, I'm an SCA member. (it's kind of like a Ren-Faire without the audience...)
On Monday, while on the way to a 4-day delivery down-state, I got an e-mail informing me that a member of our local group, a person who I fenced with, had fallen off his roof this past weekend...
Normal expectation on seeing somethign like that, cracked ribe or broken arm, right?
Mhorgan was in the ICU. Doctor's statement, "There is some brain stem activity. We expect that to fade within the next 24 housr."
I avoided checking mail or posts till I got home tonight. I have comittments and scheduled things this weekend...
Now, home and catching up, all I want to say, "I'll always cherish the impact you had on my life and outlook. I have no doubt everyone who has ever met you will celebrate your life and mourn your passing. May the next leg of your journey be at least as relevant and impressionable as this past."
