why is it that pop music is synonomous with simple. alot of bands are simplifying either there music or lurics to sell records. i mean yea you have to make money but why let your music suffer. if only the mass audience took the time to listen to melodic breakdowns or think for a second about what the lyrics really mean then i would be happy and maybe they would be too. bc then i wouldnt have to be excited for a new release say a modest mouse and then be dissapointed. but that wont happen in this world. all the kids understand these days is britney and madonna making out to a good charlotte anthem.

ps they say the new pedro is better than control. so far i beg to differ but unlike gary i dont think it went downhill. the lyrics are excellent as always and the second half of the cd the music gets alot better than the first half.discretion is a really good song.
